Eligibility Requirements For The Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Championships
What are the eligibility requirements for Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Association Amateur Championships?
To be eligible to compete in the Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Association Amateur Golf Championships, a player must be an amateur golfer who:
- was female only at birth
- is a member of a club that belongs to the Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Association
- has a USGA Handicap Index of not more than 22.5
- must show membership at a PSWGA member club by having a USGA handicap at that club.
Additional requirements for the Senior / Super Senior Championships
- be age 50 as of the first day of the Senior Championship
- be age 65 as of the first day of the Super Senior Championship
Eligibility Requirements For Junior and Junior-Junior Championship
To be eligible to compete in the Pennsylvania State Women's Golf Association Junior and Junior-Junior Golf Championship, a Junior or Junior-Junior player:
- must not have reached her 19th birthday by the first day of the Junior Championship
- Junior-Junior contestants must not have reached her 14th birthday by the first day of the Championship
In all cases, any delinquent club dues payments must be paid no later than one month prior to the tournament's entry closing date to insure a contestant’s eligibility.
